GIG Thread!
GIG Thread!
Hey guys, this thread is going to be used for questions pertaining to Groups Investigating God!
Some basic information on GIGs:
Meant for those who have questions pertaining to Christianity, a GIG is a small group of people that get together to tackle and discuss many different topics, from tough questions (ex. is there really a loving God when there is so much suffering in our world?) to general clarification on different bible passages and the fundamental beliefs of Christianity.
In this thread, please post and of your religious questions and concerns and we can get a good discourse going. If you're announcing meeting times for gig meetings, do so as well!
Hopefully we can really share our ideas and thoughts on religion openly and respectfully!
-Kenny

Re: GIG Thread!
What happens to the people who have never heard of Christ? what happens when they die, are they to be judged in the same way as those who have heard?
In Scripture Jesus constantly downplays his identity (ex mark 8 27-30) and deigns to be a prophet and teacher of old. Why is it that he doesn't proclaim that he is the Son of God?
